We are excited that so many people are downloading e-books for the first time with, Arman. Because of that, we wanted to offer the below FAQ:

Why don’t you offer this e‑book as a PDF?

We intentionally do not provide our e‑books in PDF format in order to protect the value of the work and the intellectual property behind it.

PDF files are easy to copy, forward, upload, and redistribute without permission. Once a PDF is shared, it can circulate indefinitely—often without the author’s knowledge or consent—making it nearly impossible to fairly protect or control the content.

Our goal is to ensure that the time, research, and expertise that go into creating our written work are respected and sustained.

Why is protecting written intellectual property important?

Written intellectual property represents significant creative effort, original thinking, and professional expertise. When that work is freely duplicated or redistributed without authorization, it directly undermines the creator’s ability to:

  • Continue producing high‑quality content
  • Update and improve existing material
  • Fairly price their work for all customers

Protecting intellectual property helps ensure that creators can keep producing meaningful, high‑value resources—rather than seeing their work diluted or devalued through uncontrolled distribution.

How do I access my e-pub after purchasing?

After completing your purchase, you'll receive an email with a download link. Click the link to download your e-pub file directly to your device. You can also find your download in your order confirmation email.

What devices can I read my e-pub on?

E-pub files are compatible with most e-readers and apps, including:

  • Apple Books (iPhone, iPad, Mac)
  • Google Play Books (Android, browser)
  • Kobo e-readers and app
  • Adobe Digital Editions (PC/Mac)
  • Kindle – Note: Kindle uses a different format. You may need to convert the file using a free tool like Calibre.

How do I open an e-pub file on my iPhone or iPad?

Tap the download link in your email, then choose "Open in Books" or another compatible app. The file will be saved to your app for offline reading.

How do I open an e-pub file on Android?

Download the file and open it with an app like Google Play Books or Moon+ Reader. You may need to tap "Open with" and select your preferred app.

My download link isn't working. What should I do?

Download links may expire after a set number of uses or days. If your link has expired, please contact us at justin@afghancooks.com with your order number and we'll send you a new link.

I didn't receive a download email. What now?

Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us with your order number and the email address used at checkout and we'll resend it right away.

Can I download the file more than once?

Yes! You can re-download your file a limited number of times. If you need additional downloads, just reach out to us and we'll be happy to help.

Is my purchase refundable?

Because digital downloads are delivered instantly, all sales are final. If you're experiencing a technical issue, please contact us and we'll do our best to resolve it.
